Q: Directorist
Hi. I've noticed it looks very similar to the Directorist Theme, which is also from a company in Bangladesh, Dhaka. Then I realised there are the same people behind.
1) Is this a new company or the same company?
2) Is there a difference to the directorist theme?
3) Is it compatible to the plugins of directorist?
4) What is the plan? Will you keep both projects or will one stop? Which one?

Jan 26, 2025A: Directorist is one of the pioneers in this segment. We are not the same company but the same country.
I am not sure what is very similar between both of us, As directory or classified listing Plugins functions and process is almost same (You can check with others).
We are also in the market for a long time with other projects and themes ( You can check our profile bio) . All of the themes and addons is designed based on our own realization, while we also tried to understand the market needs. This is not compatible with directories but this is an alternate of directory or other classified plusings. As we have a very good developer team we will keep continue the development and we already have a roadmap that you can check.

cc25ecf2481b4eada47fc696bc8c183eI can't verify they are the same team but I can tell you Directorist has basically crashed and burned. There last "Big Update" was as non functional as it always has been. If they are the same run!!!

I agree that Directorist has a lot of bugs – I am a customer too. I am considering a new solution but what I don't want is the same solution – would not make much sense. And if I look at aDirectory I see a lot of things in common with Directorist.

Name can be matched but not the people. The team is different not the same one.
