If I create short video clips such as a course introduction splash screen or video segment separators for my clients to use and assemble into their own trainings, can I use your sound clips? In other words, I create a splash screen using with your music or sounds, then sell that as a service to other clients to use in their productions. Does my license cover that usage?
I edit and produce multiple podcasts for clients if i where to use this how does it work when my clients upload and distribute their episodes on their own
A: Hi WalkingClaxxic, As long as our tracks are synchronized with those podcasts, it isn't a problem because the synchronization rights are yours and you're licensed for perpetuity.
You can modify the audio content in length, pitch or format to synchronize the audio content with audio and/or visual productions or applications such as social media content, podcasts or audiobooks. Keep in mind that you can't add new instruments, melody or lyrics to an original music composition owned or represented by Sound Ideas without the prior written consent of the owner.
Q: Playalongs for music improvisation
If I am teaching music improvisation online, can I use any of your tracks as playalongs for others to improvise to?
