Q: “Total Tokens Ingested” meaning?

Im not quite getting the part about “total tokens ingested” I’ve read all about the “compute points” in the link provided to many questions. In the doc provided, there is a mention of tokens, maybe the same thing? Whether the doc is referring to the “ingested tokens” or isn’t… I still don’t understand what total ingested tokens are after reading about compute points. Sorry for the inconvenience, I’d greatly appreciate it if you could explain. Thanks. 🙂

A: Good question, we will document how total tokens ingested works.
This refers to the amount of data synced with Bind AI via Integrations (Github, Google Drive, Upload).
Each token is roughly 4 characters or a small word (e.g "Cool"). This synced data is stored as vectordb embeddings and AI can access relevant context when you ask questions based on your data.
This is the bot URL where the synced data is accessible: https://copilot.getbind.co/chat/custom-bot
