I’m writing this review to share several significant issues I encountered while using Binder's product. Initially, I was excited to get started, but I quickly ran into some obstacles that made the experience frustrating.
- First, the supposedly branded document viewer does not reflect my branding at all. Even though I'm on a higher-tier plan that promises custom options, the shared links are still prominently branded with Binder, which is misleading.
- Second, there's no real-time tracking that shows who is viewing the documents on a page-by-page basis. This feature is crucial for my needs, and its absence is a major drawback.
- Finally, the product is not accessible on mobile devices, which is a significant limitation in today’s mobile-first environment.
Overall, the current state of the product is unusable for my business needs. I genuinely want to see improvements and would be open to collaborating with the team on solutions. However, if these issues remain unresolved, I will have no choice but to request a refund.

The speaker is testing data rooms and encountered a bug during the email verification process. They believe the issue is on the server side rather than the client side, as the server is not delivering the required file. The speaker expresses their desire to use the platform but emphasizes that they cannot do so if it isn't functioning properly. They ask for clarification on whether the issue can be resolved and thank the recipient for their time.

The speaker discusses several issues with the data room feature, including problems with link management and user experience. They highlight concerns about:
- Link Editing: Errors occur when editing links, and the need for email verification is unclear.
- File Organization: Uploaded files are not sorted in an intuitive order, lacking options for sorting by name or type, which complicates navigation in larger deals.
- Document Access: Users are repeatedly prompted to enter their email when accessing documents within the same session, which is frustrating.
- PDF Viewer Limitations: The PDF viewer lacks a zoom-out button and should feature an anchored navigation bar.
- Custom Buttons: Call-to-action buttons should be positioned at the bottom and move with the user while scrolling.
- File Descriptions: A notes field for document uploads would enhance usability, providing context for each file.
Overall, the speaker emphasizes that the data room experience needs significant improvements to better facilitate deal-making and user interaction. They encourage the team to take this feedback seriously to enhance the product.
