We love this product. I waited until it was deployed and in use to come back and write a review. I highly recommend this software. It's beautiful, simple, (work with Notion and we love notion), the founder is responsive, the deal (we got the highest tier) is worth every penny and 5 tacos. Note: to customize some elements you may need some custom css - but if that's too much code for you, the out-of-the-box customization choices are great.

I'm brand new to Notion, so I wasn't sure how easy it would be to get started with BuildFast. But honestly, it was stunningly easy—I had my first blog live in literally 15 minutes. It felt like discovering some kind of blogging superpower.

What really sets this apart for me is the easy Notion automations, which make using Notion as the backend for a CMS so ingenious. Being able to effortlessly push content straight into Notion using Pabbly / Zapier is a massive time saver, and I'm building a streamlined workflow I didn't even realize was possible before this tool.

I also really love how clean and modern the blog style is right out of the box—no headaches trying to tweak designs or code.

But what truly blew me away has been the phenomenal support from the founder. Not just quick responses, but genuinely thoughtful and helpful guidance that's above and beyond. Plus, the roadmap looks incredibly promising.

Thoughts on the roadmap: I'd really love to see (a) the ability to mark posts as "published but invisible" instead of just "the binary "published" and "draft" (apparently this is going to be built; (b) much more flexibility and ways to insert CTAs (this too is getting built) and (c) link redirects (ie, my blog can have blog "posts" that do not open, but when clicked on the blog redirect to a new link. This should simply be a column in the Notion article db, so we can send readers directly to a paid substack, gumroad, video, signup, etc.)

Buildfast to the rescue!

Buildfast is by far the best choice for me when it comes to a blogging platform. I've tried Wordpress and did not, I repeat, did not like it. Buildfast's integration is quick, simple to set up and provide an aesthetically eye pleasing layout and easy to read blog. And the fact that it is based on Notion makes it even better because I know and understand Notion.

Support is very responsive, professional and efficient. Hands down one of my best Appsumo purchases.

BuildFast is a really cool and unique blogging platform, thats a breeze to work . I’ve been with Brizy since it launched on AppSumo, but I think this is what I need to break away from their yearly fees and to focus on earning money with affiliate marketing blogging.

BTW, this makes setting up a blog and making posts is much faster than Brizy or anything else I’ve tried. I love the platform! I do have a few things for my wish list, and I really hope Parul will implement these in upcoming updates:

-- Auto update when changes are detected from Notion. Or at least a shorter time frame than once every 24 hours. That is a really long time for an auto-update. Yes, we can manually do it, but it will just speed things up when making changes blogging!

--More design control with colors, and especially with the logo. My logos look really tiny with my blogs. I’d like to have more control to get that looking good right in the interface! Same with choosing colors. 
I was confused at first about the colors because I was adding a specific color and it was using a different color/tint of it. Other platforms that I have found easier to use with colors allow me to have a color palate of colors I add and can assign those to various things on the site!

I still give BuildFast 5 stars because I know it’s a new tool! I am excited to be using it and look forward to what they do with it in the future! And I appreciate the quick response and help with their support as well!

The dashboard is clean and straightforward. I'm not a Notion expert, but I was able to setup my first test blog with ease! 👍

Parul (founder) and her Support Team are responsive on emails! They promptly listen to our requests and are open to feedback which is a big plus! ➕

The existing templates are good-looking! ✨ But it would be great if they can add more designs and variations to fit different niche and purposes.

Overall, a worthy investment with 5 crunchy tacos! 🌮
