Q: Clarification on Domain Setup & Hosting Risks
I recently purchased Tier 2 and was hoping to get clarification on some points regarding domains and hosting:
Domain Registration:
- Do these domains have Butternut branding, or are they fully customizable?
- Can I manage DNS settings directly, or is everything controlled by Butternut?
- The domain we claim is for 1 year only. What is the cost aft that?
Hosting & Business Continuity:
- If Butternut AI shuts down, what happens to my domains and websites?
- Is there an option to export the website and host it elsewhere?
- Can I self-host my website with a third-party provider like AWS or Bluehost?

2) Yes, you can manage DNS settings of domain name
3) We are a high growth company and have been in business from last 1.5 years. So we aren't going anywhere. You will always own your domain name and can move it to some other website.
4) We provide a full ecosystem to build and host websites. Downloading websites is not an option.
5) All websites are hosted on Butternut AI servers.
