Good potential poor performance
A Promising Start, But Needs Significant Improvement and work:
While this app shows potential, it's currently far from being a viable replacement for established premium chat apps. Key issues include:
* Notification Reliability: The notification system is unreliable, particularly on mobile devices and browsers. This hinders real-time communication and timely responses.
* Message Delivery: Messages often fail to deliver, leading to communication breakdowns and frustration on mobile.
* Mobile App Functionality: The mobile app is currently unstable and lacks essential features, making it difficult to use on-the-go.
* Error Handling: The app frequently encounters errors, such as retrieving errors, further disrupting the user experience. The mobile app is simple DOES NOT WORK.
To improve, the developers should prioritize fixing these fundamental issues and focus on delivering a reliable and efficient messaging experience across all platforms.
There is no custom domain with app unlike other LTDs.
The messager sometimes does not show the agent avatar. Fail to look it and displays a broken image.
You can not embed the app as an ifram. You are limited to the bubble integration (again unlike the other LTDs).
*Customizing options of the messenger is limited.
*You can not copy past and image in the chat.
Overall it essential or basic features expected in a chat app.
I recommended the “Any Chat” LTD in AppSumo which has very desirable price like this app but with Tom of features and a professional 100% white label, fully functional mobile app with Apple Watch notifications, email notifications, rich features such as allowing the user to capture the screen as screenshot within the messenger and many more.
Back to this app. The low reasonable price is appreciated but the app is not ready as a premium or an LTD.
I gave it 2 trials for 2 months. But it simply did not deliver its job: to chat with visitors, leads and provide support.
The app has a long way to go.

Let me go through all the issues raised quickly:
(1) Notifications Reliability: Can you share more details on what you are experiencing, whether its regarding push notifications, or sound notifications? We are using Google infrastructure for the sending all push notifications, which is very reliable and used by most SaaS.
(2) Can you share more details, on which devices and whether you are getting any error messages?
(3) There is a couple of glitches regarding the auto refresh for the messages, we are releasing an update this month for a fix.
(4) Can you share any errors you faced with screenshots on support@getcharla.com to be able to investigate
(5) Avatar issue, can you share a screenshot please and when this takes place?
(6) Copy/Paste, yes definitely coming in early Q1.
As for AnyChat, its missing a lot of the functionality we currently offer. Customer Feedback, Reports, Builtin OpenAI integration with training on your knowledge base to name a few. You will need to subscribe to OpenAI or similiar with a seperate subscription for the Chatbots to work, so there is hidden costs you are not initially aware of.
