We are a startup with a group of software enthusiasts who were unsatisfied with the existing Cloud monitoring and DevOps solutions. These solutions were too complicated, costly, and did not address all the day-to-day issues for individuals and organizations. For example, understanding and using tools like Datadog or New Relic can be challenging, and even when you do, they may not solve all the problems. For instance, you might have a network diagram in MS Visio or draw.io, but the diagram becomes outdated when changes are made to your cloud network. Then we thought, you know, I am paying $$$ to Datadog/New Relic, and still, I have to update the diagram myself (or keep it up to date in my head). Why not let some tool do it ?!!!

With Cloudshot, this is no longer an issue. Cloudshot is specifically designed to address the needs of individuals, from ground-level DevOps engineers to tech leads in any organization. When you log onto Cloudshot, you'll get a familiar interface of draw.io. Once you connect your AWS or Azure account, you can easily visualize the cloud components in the form of a live diagram. You can view details of any component within draw.io, such as a virtual machine's type, OS, security group, and perform various operations with a simple right-click, including starting and stopping, installing third-party agents like Datadog, updating the OS, and executing commands in the OS. Additionally, Cloudshot provides a detailed breakdown of your cloud spending, and we are currently working on suggestions to optimize it for cost savings with one-click implementation.
