Very good start of a tool that can only get better

This product is good and has lots of potential once you get past the installation hiccups. I completely passed on this until I watched the Dave Swift Review on YouTube. The developers should watch his video as it is very fair and points out and solves some of the minor issues I have read about activating the product. Had I not watched Dave's video and referenced it when activating the product, I probably would not have gone further.

The product needs immediate basic instructions on what needs to be done to activate the product. I know what BYOK means and how to do it. But your average person would have no idea, and it isn't a straightforward task or understanding for a newbie. I applied the key first and then went to use the product, and it didn't work and didn't tell me why, so I went back to Dave's video to work out I needed to add a token, which was not straightforward. Clean this up because it is the first experience with the product and an immediate turn-off.

Now to the product. Developers read these reviews.....Everyone loves the Alt Text feature the most. So stop and hear this and focus way more attention on making this feature perfect. Then move on the other features of this product. It clearly CURRENTLY is the star of this product. This feature alone is worth your asking price. Not because it is the best - it is not the best but only because it is not built out. I won't name the competitors you have for awesome alt text but one I absolutely love but they gatekeep by credits per month with no rollover unless you end your Appsumo deal and go to a paid account. With your product having control of this with our own API Key is awesome - it just needs building out like your competitors product to be perfect.

That said, what is great about the Alt Text feature is the results, and the ability to add a keyword is fantastic.

What needs improving is this: Add a search, Add a button inside of the media library when you add images, Allow the image to be clicked on so it can be viewed better, if possible add a link to the URL the image is Attached to, show us details about the image such as the size. My site makes thumbnails of the images I upload.

Meta Description—You only support posts, and again, there is no search. We need it for product pages, and others need it for Woo, etc. Expand this after perfecting the alt text.

I haven't tested the Blog or Image compression tools. Dave does on his video. It looked like the content workflow was good with a few hickups on language in the output but generally really good. I will test this, but if it were within the actual product page where I add content directly, it would be something I definitely would utilise. Having it outside makes it no better than other AI content products that have buttons inside the proudct and post pages to search, click and upload the content - like ( I will name-drop them because they are a really great product too, with lacking support) Outranking.io.

Image compression I always do with care. It is great you save and say there is care with the server processing....I'll look at this but it is not a selling point.

As Dave says this is product to pick up now because it can only get better and will be useful in your toolkit.

To the developers - be quick to redirect your focus on perfecting tools, and don't get caught up in adding many features to accommodate everyone's new request. Other's will copy you very quickly once they see how useful your plugin is. If you become so complicated and not absolutely clear what your product is and why everyone has to have it for at least one awesome feature, then it will just be a muddy mess - which as a new product, it kind of is with a shinying star that all your current reviews talk about in the Alt Text feature.

Watch Dave's review; they are always fair. I give 5 tacos for the Alt Text Feature and for the future potential. I agree with Dave—for the price, it is a no-brainer to grab this now. Use it now if it is helpful with your current WordPress challenges. Otherwise, buy and sit on it, then check back in after a few months.
