Just the Thing!

I've been looking at URL-shortening services, but don't need one often enough to pay a monthly fee -- so this comes at a perfect time.

CutMeShort was easy enough to set up, but you'll need to have access to something like Panel for your server so you can set up a CNAME listing. And if you already have a website at your URL, your links will need to come from a subdomain, which makes them slightly longer, less simple -- but still worlds better than the dodgy-looking, 100-character link you were about to post!

All the analytics abilities included here are beyond anything I need, but it's nice to know they'll be there if I need them in the future.

Totally happy with this purchase.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! 😊
We’re thrilled to hear that CutMe Short came at the perfect time for you. We understand the subdomain situation and appreciate your patience with that (we will get back to you regarding this shortly)—it’s still a big upgrade from those long, complicated links, right? 😄

Your happiness with the purchase is what keeps us going, and we’re so grateful...

Does What It Says

I have used several links shortners, this one has all the essentials, and the interface works fantastically. It seemed a little steep, especially since I already use foxly.

However, I wanted something separate for client projects and this looks like it’s gonna work great.

UPDATE: I liked it fine, but a few shortcomings that got me to return it.
1. No searching the short links you create
2. No updating the tags of the shortlink
3. No Editing of your shortlink once created. I had to delete it (with its data) then recreate it.
4. (More of annoyance), on my apple devices, you can't put in a password for keychain. You have to put in your email, then wait for a code to be emailed, return to put in for login..
