Q: Automatic tracking?
Hello, as user of another mac apps that automaticly track my focus app and urls and sort usage with rules to tasks, i am interested here (excluding Desklog Enterprise licence) what is "automated tracker" in regards of Desklog appsumo licences?
I really need app for team that can track usage per tasks, I buy tier 1 just to test it, I like onboarding UX, everything looks nice, only i cant see automatic tracking as feature as I understand in explanation. App is just tracking uptime without details, even it is hard to realise how he can recognize, youtube watching is productive or unproductive.
Another question, regarding JIRA integration, didnt see how i it can be connected, so just short explanation.

To clarify your question about automated tracking:
The Desklog client application, which you install on your system, is what automatically tracks user activity. This includes tracking of apps and URLs used during the workday—from login to logout—regardless of project or task timing.
The classification of activities (like recognizing YouTube as productive or unproductive) depends on how you categorize apps in the App Productivity Settings. Based on your categorization, Desklog will sort usage accordingly in the reports.
Regarding JIRA integration and detailed app/URL tracking—these features are part of our Enterprise plan, which isn’t included in the AppSumo deal by default. However, we’d be happy to activate these features for you at no extra cost with your AppSumo license! 🎉
