Promising Start But Credit Limitations Make It Impractical

Diaflow offers an easy to learn, user-friendly interface that makes creating workflows and automations accessible even for those with limited technical expertise. The integration of vector databases and spreadsheet functionality provides powerful capabilities for data management and automation in a visually intuitive package. However the distinction of automations and bots (agents) is not so clear but i don't care about this distinction.

I particularly appreciate how seamlessly the spreadsheet functionality works right with the rest of the platform. The ability to create data-driven applications by connecting vector databases to automated workflows represents a compelling approach to no-code development that genuinely simplifies complex processes.

However, despite these strengths, several significant issues limit Diaflow's practicality:

The most problematic aspect to me is the credit system. Even with my highpriced Tier 4 (the highest tier), credits disappear alarmingly fast with basic flows. While this might be sufficient for experimentation and personal projects, it makes the platform economically unfeasible for customer-facing implementations without incurring substantial additional costs. This creates an unpredictable expense model for me that's difficult to budget for.

Additionally, while Diaflow advertises GDPR compliance as a selling point, the implementation isn't as comprehensive as they suggest. For organizations with strict data privacy requirements in the EU, this partial compliance creates potential risks. As well the whitelabeling is on the roadmap but right now it is not fully implemented.

The company emphasizes their dedicated cloud infrastructure as justification for the pricing model, but this argument falls flat when comparing credit costs to competitors using similar calculation bases. The actual value proposition doesn't align with the premium pricing for me.

It's disappointing because the core product shows a high potential. With more reasonable credit allocations and truly comprehensive GDPR compliance, Diaflow could be a perfect fit for many usecases. Unfortunately, the current economics make it difficult to justify for anything beyond personal experimentation for me - even i bought it to use it on several client webprojects for answering customer inquieries.

Regrettably, I'll likely request a refund as the unpredictable additional costs create too much financial uncertainty for my use case. A great concept with powerful features, but the execution of the business model needs significant reconsideration for my understanding

Hi user6961b,

I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into sharing your detailed thoughts on Diaflow. Your insights are invaluable in helping us refine our platform to better serve our users.

I’m glad to hear that you find our no-code approach and spreadsheet functionality beneficial. We designed Diaflow to make automation and AI-driven workflows accessible to everyone, and it’s rewarding to see that aspect resonate with you.

That said, I completely understand your concerns regarding our credit system. While we’ve structured our pricing to support various use cases, we recognize that for users with high-demand, customer-facing applications, the current credit model can feel restrictive. We are actively reviewing our pricing and credit allocations to create a more predictable and scalable model that ensures better value. Additionally, we will publish the amount of credits burned per node in our library with BYOK nodes in the upcoming release. It will help our users understand how it works better.

Regarding GDPR compliance, we take data privacy very seriously and are continuously working toward full alignment with the strictest standards. If there are any specific gaps you’ve identified, I’d love to hear them so we can address them effectively.

Whitelabeling is indeed on our roadmap, and while it’s not yet fully implemented, we are committed to delivering this feature as soon as possible. We understand how crucial it is for agencies and businesses looking to offer a seamless branded experience.

I regret that these challenges have led you to consider a refund. Our goal is to build a platform that not only meets but exceeds expectations, and we’re listening closely to feedback like yours to improve our offering. If you’d be open to it, I’d love to have a direct conversation to see if we can find a way forward that works for you.

Regardless of your decision, I sincerely appreciate your time and insights. Your feedback helps shape Diaflow into the best product it can be.
