As if my glasses-less self were knitting socks - sometimes correct, sometimes wrong stitch.

I have tried many pages with divmagic, sections, pure elements etc. On average, only 30% of what is copied works. Whole pages via the tool are messed up. Even in Balance Mode, it's not as the founder presents it. I also noticed that things appear more accurate in their DivStudio than when they are hosted or in another development environment like Editor.do.
For individual elements and sections, it's really good. But complete pages have been useless so far.
The idea is super brilliant; there used to be a SaaS provider who only needed the URL and could almost perfectly copy the whole page with a click. Unfortunately, copyright infringement... Too bad.
In principle, DiviMagic is cool, but due to its high error rate, I don't see any use for copying entire websites. At least not currently. The tool is super simple to use and beginner-friendly.
It should also be noted that when the founder claims that almost any website can be copied and we should send them to him, it makes little sense because it has to work outside their DivStudio, not within their own environments.
3 stars because it's a good idea, individual elements work, it's simple to use, and even easy for a beginner. The 2 stars deduction is because it doesn't work as great overall as the founder always tries to convey in his responses. And DivStudio is uninteresting if it doesn't work in other environments. Whether I'll keep the purchase, I can't say yet, but the less it works, the sooner a refund will be.

Thank you for the review! Let me address some of the concerns you've raised:

DivMagic Studio Appearance: The difference you noticed in DivMagic Studio compared to other environments primarily the default font settings and spacings around elements within our studio. It's designed to enhance readability and accessibility but that is the only difference. It doesn't do anything special to the input code to make it appear differently than other development environments.

Copying Complete Pages: Copying entire web pages is indeed a complex feature that involves numerous technical difficulties. DivMagic works much better at converting individual elements and sections into reusable web components We recommend using DivMagic for sections and components primarily, even though our goal remains to facilitate whole-page conversions as well. For full page copies, copying sections one by one (such as header, footer) can work better than full copy with one click functionality. In our tests full page copy works very well but the internet is very big and there can be websites where individual element copying might work better than full page copy.

Any Website: DivMagic operates on the rendered output of websites, which allows it to function independently of the underlying technology. Our tool doesn't "copy" per se but recreates elements based on their on-screen appearance. This process ensures that DivMagic will work across different frameworks but may introduce discrepancies due to various rendering behaviors across browsers and website building environments. We're continually working to minimize these differences.

Technical Knowledge: We understand that discrepancies in the output code can be an issue, particularly for our non-technical users. DivMagic was initially designed with developers in mind and we're working on making it easily usable by no-code users too. In many cases, updating or aligning the output code with your expectations is as simple as modifying one or two CSS classes in the output. Most discrepancies seen in the output (if any) come from a couple CSS classes and changing those make the output look significantly better. To assist our non-technical users with these adjustments, we have integrated ChatGPT into DivMagic Studio, which can guide them through the process of making these changes.
