Q: Custome domain & usage of QR code tracking..why??

So first question comes to mine is, I will only get 10 URL in plan one with my business name, QR code rest will be any gibberish letter?

And even more important question is a small Institute who goes to different colleges have posters, needs lead one on one in the office. This is the only off-line interaction. We have tracking QR code ... WHY is necessary. I'm really trying to understand the usage to myself and tracking. How it's gonna help to either manage or grow our small institute.?

Is tracking even necessary because everybody can generate a QR code for free?

- help me with some examples so that I can really understand that deepNess of how other people are also using and can relate to me!!

Lastly, what is workspace? Is it number of people or folder or total agency type different client handling?

A: I will explain each one:

1. Understanding the Custom Domain.
Ans: In Plan One, you get unlimited QR codes and scans, with limitations only on the number of team members and workspaces.

The advantages of having a custom domain are branding and credibility. Your customers and prospects will see a professional-looking link associated with your business instead of a generic one, which helps build trust and improves the user experience.

2. Is QR Code Tracking Necessary Since Anyone Can Generate a Free QR Code?
Ans: Yes, you can create free QR codes, but they are static, meaning they are non-trackable and cannot be edited after creation.

Tracking adds valuable insights that can help you make data-driven decisions. Since your institute relies on offline marketing through posters at different colleges, here’s how QR code tracking can help:

✅ Understand Engagement: Monitor the number of students scanning your QR codes and determine which locations (colleges) perform better.
✅ Improve Lead Collection – Track whether students scan the QR codes but do not fill out forms, helping refine your approach.
✅ Optimize Your Strategy – If a college has a high scan rate but low conversions, you may need to improve messaging or the call-to-action.
✅ Time-Based Insights – Find out the peak hours when students scan QR codes and adjust your engagement strategy accordingly.

Example:
If you place QR codes at five different colleges, tracking helps identify the most effective locations:

College A: 100 scans but only 5 sign-ups → Possible issue with the landing page or offer.
College B: 50 scans but 30 sign-ups → Strong conversion, worth investing more effort here.
With this data-driven approach, you can optimize marketing efforts instead of guessing what works.

3. What is a Workspace?
A workspace is a management system within your QR code platform. It serves different purposes depending on your needs:

🔹 For a Single Business – Organize QR codes, track analytics, and manage campaigns in one place.
🔹 For Agencies – If you handle multiple clients, workspaces allow you to manage each client's QR codes separately.
🔹 For Teams – If multiple people in your institute manage QR codes, a workspace enables seamless collaboration.

Think of it as a folder where you store and manage everything related to your QR codes and analytics.
