Q: Expense details
Hi there, Love the potential of the product. Asking for a friend: When using the receipt scanner does it record and categorize every product?
Use case: My friend works in construction and ideally would be able to categorize all the bought products e.g. paint, wood, other supplies etc. That way, in a report he knows exactly what to expect for the next project and can estimate the correct pricing for his customer. Right now he is missing out on money because sometimes the estimates are incorrect. (Great in building stuff, not so much in the financial part...)

Feb 21, 2025A: Hi Milena, thanks for reaching out! It sounds like your friend in construction could use a little extra help “nailing” his expense categories. While our scanner grabs totals, tax, and vendor info, it doesn't automatically itemize every product. But no worries—he can easily set up custom categories (like paint, wood, supplies, etc.) in Settings > Categories to track his expenses exactly the way he needs.
