Nice, but...

We are trialling a top level Appsumo with this. We like it a lot - but compared to the similar platform we are using now, which is getting outdated and lacking support, there are a few missing options.

One is probably a deal breaker in terms of keep/refund - Hope this helps, Devs:

a) - The deal breaker - There is no 'call to action' button that can redirect to (eg) a book a call calendly or similar option _ without that there's no 'next steps' for the reader - In marketing we need them to take a next step. I'd say that's a must have. I appreciate that there can be links within the PDF, but it needs to be much more visible. A simple button is a good option.

b) There is no way to add a PNG logo onto the page. That's important for brand awareness

c) Only a color change for background, not an option for switcing to (eg) an image instead of a color.

d) No way to add a page title and subtitle on the page.

Of these, (a) is critical for anyone, not just us as marketers.

We have sent these points directly to the dev team, so if we can get the button as a priority we'll keep this in our toolbox and bump up the Tacos. Otherwise, probably a refund.

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for trialing FlipBooklets. I can certainly try to help address your points.

a) We understand the importance of features like a 'call to action' button for marketing purposes and appreciate you highlighting this as critical.

The good thing is that we do already automatically include any links that are contained within the PDF. This means if there are calls to action in there, they will be available in FlipBooklets with no additional input required from the user to streamline creation and publishing. A good example of both internal and external links is our Audi example (https://flipbooklets.com/pdfflipbooklets/audi-example-flip-booklet).

b & c) I agree! I am pleased to say that these features will be coming with the Agency Add-On.

d) While we do allow a page title and description for SEO purposes we do not publish these on the page. We've made this a conscious decision as we want to keep the content of the book front and centre.

I hope that links in the PDF will help with the criticality of a call to action being available. Our business model looks to help small non-technical business owners needing a quick way to present their PDFs better. No complicated functions, simply upload, publish and share. I understand it may not be suitable for everyone's needs.

We're actively looking into enhancing our features to include more customisable options. User input is invaluable and directly influences our development priorities.

We aim to provide a solution that not only meets but exceeds the marketing needs of our target users.
