I’ve been looking for a better way to work with WordPress data, and Gato GraphQL absolutely nailed it. It gives me full control over what I expose through the API, without opening up my entire backend or jumping through hoops.

I’m using it to power a headless setup and automate some repetitive tasks, and it’s been solid. Fast, flexible, and way more capable than I expected.

I have not yet used Gato GraphQL, as I purchased in advance of a project I may need it for. I purchased Tier 3 right off the bat because it looks like a solid product. Well, in my spate of stupid redemption tricks of late, I messed up and reached out to support. Within 10 minutes I had a reply from Leo himself. Issue resolved faster than you can blink. That itself deserves 10 tacos. I look forward to seeing what I can do with WordPress and Gato GraphQL!

The product allows you to turn your wordpress backend to a graphql api. It is mature as it has more than 2 years. Particularly interesting is that you can persist queries. Also Leo the creator is continuing on adding features and is very responsive to the questions. I believe that if you work on wordpress, this tool will add a lot of productivity if you use it for programmatic posting or headless cms.
