Q: MIC is being used by another device.
Hi
If I am connected to Teams on my desktop, do I also need to log in to the same Teams meeting on my mobile, meaning two logins—one from the desktop and one from the mobile—for Hedy to listen? When I log in on only one device and give mic access to Teams (because I need to listen and talk in the meeting), I can't give mic access to Hedy. I get an error that the mic is being used by another device. What is the correct way to handle this situation?

Jan 27, 2025A: Thanks for the question! At this time Hedy can only listen to meetings via the microphone on your mobile device, so you'd need to play the meeting over the speakers on your desktop. We are working on a native desktop app that will work with work with headsets on desktop (expected launch in March). In the meantime, if you are on a Macbook you can try the iPad version of Hedy... several users are using that successfully.
