While the tool shows great potential, it is missing some key features which are essential for me:
1) There is no video capturing for scrolling actions which can be confusing for viewers from one demo step to the next.
2) Cannot add annotations on PDFs. A small round static hotspot is not really a great visual on a PDF as it cannot always be easily seen due to its size. Other similar tools allow you to place adjustable rectangular annotations around specific interactive areas on a PDF.
3) Cannot redact or blur sensitive information.
4) Cannot record iframes even if the embedded iframe is from the same domain as the main page.
All of the above features are possible in another app called LayerPath which I currently use.
However, in comparison, Holoib does offer some nice advantages at a low cost such as custom domains, lead collection, and the use of variables to personalize demos.
When the missing features I need on Holoib are made available, I will be happy to revise my feedback.
I created my first "demo" in less than 10 minutes. Quick wins are addictive. This software has SO much damn potential, it's honestly a no-brainer. The fact that I am allowed to create an UNLIMITED amount of demos with the FIRST tier alone, is amazing. My only question is what is what the true secret "limit" actually is (under their "fair use policy".......
