Q: Is Human Presence End of Life?

I was going to buy this. Then, I read through the comments to find that recent comments have gone without answers. That prompted me to look up the plugin in the WordPress repo to find a warning message, because the plugin hasn't been updated in 11 months:
"This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress."
Human Presence may be technically functional, but is it being maintained? For example, when will a new release be pushed to the WordPress repo. Are new rules being crated to mitigated smarter bots?

tdteeplesPLUSI have to second this comment. I was excited to read about this software and would love to use it, however, if it's not going to be maintained and tested against the current release, then it won't be something that we can use. If there is anyone from the company that is willing to respond, please do before we can consider supporting it.

Yes, I am also interested in whether the plugin is still being actively developed or at least properly maintained. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it, which is a shame because it worked quite reliably in the past, it seems. I would use it if there was certainty that the project had not been and won't be abandoned. But with such an uncertain status quo, I simply can't use Human Presence.
