Very well made
I was kind of on a fence about this app for some time and then finally decided to jump on it and I really like it. I like that there's an iOS app that syncs with the online app. Pretty much what I would use to enter and manage my goals, etc - my laptop and my iPhone.

Brilliantly Simple Productivity And Organizing Tool
Since weaning myself off Microsoft Products I've been looking for a tool that allows me to keep track of tasks, take & organize notes, keep my calendar - all in sync - across my PCs and Android devices. Illumtori does this in spades. It's actually brilliantly simple. And while I think it was originally created as a goal setting and goal keeping tool, I don't think I'll actually use any of the goal setting or budgeting functions but having calendar, tasks, notes, and a journal in one place across devices and accessible from the web is a Godsend.
I know the creators are continuing to work on the this platform but there is a large gap between the web functionality & Desktop App and the Android App. The Web interface brings a dashboard where you've got your day at a glance - this is missing in the App. Also, the web interface allows organizing notes by "folder" or subject matter. This is also missing in the app. I'd love to see Folders and sub folders implemented in the android app, then Illumtori would replace both One Note and Joplin. Lastly, the Journal Function is burried in the Calendar making it hard to find and maybe even impractical. Journal should be a stand alone function then journal entries could be organized by date.
Last but not least if the was the ability in settings to choose which app functions show up in the menu bar - that would be awesome. None the less, I've had Illumtori for a couple of days and am using it as an essential tool - and it will only get better. Thanks for bring this to AS 5 Tacos in anticipation.

Mar 30, 2025Hello,
Thank you so much for your support and review.
You brought some great ideas that we will definitely implement going forwards, such as the daily dashboard and allowing users to choose what functions are available in the mobile app. Also, we are aware of the gap between the web and mobile apps. That gap will be addressed before we implement additional web features :)
Thanks again for your...

Delightful to use for Daily Productivity
Illumtori is both convenient and satisfying to use, and is essential for daily productivity! 🚀
I used to toggle between apps for notes, to-do checklists, calendar, and goal-tracking. Now, I only use one app which has better features! 🥰
- What I love:
✔️ The Overdue and Eventually Tasks feature is ingenius!
✔️ Smart Tags is very helpful in organizing projects (client, personal, etc.).
✔️ Tracking measurable goals like send 10 emails per day or close 5 deals in x days.
✔️ Quick links within the dashboard for easy access to frequently visited websites.
✔️ Easy integration with Google & Microsoft calendars.
✔️ Seamless and secured note-taking for those quick thoughts.
✔️ Native apps for Android and iOS. And a Web App!
✔️ Pomodoro Timer and Eisenhower Matrix
✔️ A nice-to-have budget tracker (income/expenses)
- Would love to see:
💡 A faster initial loading time on the web app.
💡 A basic Mind-mapping tool and Kanban.
💡 The Pomodoro Timer to continue running even if the timer is closed.
💡 Include simple BG music while working like low-fi beats, binaural beats, nature sound, white noise, coffee shop tracks, yoga/meditation sounds, etc. - to help us focus (is this asking too much?). 😅
Illumtori is one of the best productivity tools that I have tried. And that doesn't even include the upcoming features yet, like email and cloud storage integrations.
On top of that, Jen and Steven are a super nice couple who are hardworking and responsive to their users both on emails and on Discord.
So, grab this deal now while it's still available at this crazy low price! 💥

Remarkable
It's hard to do develop an app that does multiple things well and have a smooth UI. Well this app is headed in the right direction. There's some quirks like how daily journals can't be easily found even when tagged. However i am still enjoying this app and use it heavily for both work and personal.

This is an application with great potential.
Thank you for adding Japanese. Even though many services have great features, they often only offer languages like English, German, and Chinese, so being able to use Japanese will help attract many Japanese users, including myself.
I tried this app for a bit and liked it, so I decided to purchase it. The web version, in particular, has an excellent user experience. However, I discovered some minor bugs in the mobile version. Specifically, when editing a task and changing the notification time, the task's due date also changes.
I am using the Asia/Tokyo time zone, but it seems that changing the notification time shifts the task’s due date forward by nine hours (which aligns with London’s standard time zone). This suggests that the time zone reference might be getting lost due to some issue.
Additionally, when blocking a task in the calendar on the mobile version, it is always pre-selected to 12:00–12:30 for some reason. Because of this, I have to manually re-enter the duration I originally set for the task each time.
Since I spend a lot of time using the mobile version, I believe it would be much more convenient if these bugs were fixed and features like the project management function from the web version were added.
That said, I understand that this app is growing rapidly. I look forward to seeing it improve even further and hope that more users from Japan will join as well.
