How granular are the permission? We do not want all of our managers/group leaders ... to see each other's dashboards and students etc? Is that possible with Konstantly?
A: Hello! Yes, permissions in Konstantly are quite granular. On top of that, there are predefined roles like Administrator, Manager, Expert and Learner - each with specific access levels. Plus, if your license allows, you can create custom roles to fine-tune access even further.
This means you can ensure managers or group leaders only see their own teams’ dashboards and learners, without access...
The main thing holding me back from buying a plan is that you keep limited to the number of learners. People who sell courses want to sell to unlimited learners... Why can't you match what the other LMS options on AppSumo are doing to provide plans for unlimited learners?
A: Hey, thanks for the question! Konstantly is primarily built for internal use—helping companies with training, onboarding, and compliance for teams, partners, and customers—rather than as a course-selling platform for unlimited users. However, we’re working on a solution to enable course sales in the future.
If I have 250 user account, and 50 have not logged in over 6 months, do I have to delete those accounts to free up the seats or are the seats counted for active users? Asking because most people who buy course expect to have access when they want, maybe months years down the line so struggling with the user caps.
A: You have a capacity of 250 active seats. If users are inactive or not engaged in the learning process, you can deactivate them and invite new users. You can activate, deactivate, and invite users as long as you stay within the 250-seat limit. Deactivated users will be archived in the system and can be reactivated when needed.
Q: What if I buy a license and then want to upgrade or downgrade it?

Apr 15, 2025A: You can easily upgrade or downgrade your license at any time via the product page on AppSumo.
