A: Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.

Firstly, credits work like this:
Labrika automatically renews credit allowances every 30 days.

Crawling pages and ranking checking keywords use two completely different types of credits.

A keyword ranking query credit is used every time you request a keyword ranking update from a search engine. So; if you request a keyword rank update for Google US - New York that would cost one credit, if you requested a keyword update in 10 different locations for one keyword that would cost you 10 credits. Running one keyword ranking check on 10 keywords in ONE location would cost you 10 keyword ranking credits.

A page crawling credit is used every time you run an SEO analysis on that page. All pages are treated the same, be it pages with lots of content or empty pages, or error pages. Running an SEO or tech audit on 1000 pages (URL's) would cost you 1000 crawling credits.

Any unused credits will be returned to your credit balance. If you set up a crawl that is set to use, for example, 1000 credits, and it only uses 200 credits, the remaining credits (800) would be returned to your credit balance and available for use.

Labrika allows the rollover of any unused keyword ranking queries, and page crawling credits from the previous month and allows you to use them in the next 30-day period. You'll need to use any credits that rollover from the previous month within the next 30-day period. You can only rollover your credits from the previous month. You won't be eligible to roll over your allowance if your plan doesn't renew by the end of day 30 as rollover is only available while there is an active plan.

If you run out of credits Labrika will give you the option to top-up your credits.

We hope this provides a better explanation as to how our credit system works.
Please let us know if you still have questions.

Have a nice day!

Thanks! What is best/common practice for city-based keyword checking? I didnt know it was city basedd, like ubersuggest just shows 1 ranking and I think it's for the U.S.. does this mean they are probalby selecting NY, NY and that is representative for the nation?

In Labrika, you can get a rank for both the country and the city. If you encounter any difficulties, you can always contact our support team using the form in your personal account (icon in the upper right menu).

When you target a broad region rather than a particular city, search engines consider a much larger geographical area. They analyze search queries with a focus on the entire region, encompassing multiple cities, rather than honing in on one specific location.

This means your website is competing with a significantly larger number of businesses across various cities, which can drastically impact your rankings.
