I have used for one project and happy with the results overall. I personally find the voices quite realistic (saves me paying for ElevenLabs).

It doesn't seem to work well on words with apostrophise (eg. I'm, can't - "William Australian English" was one voice example if I remember correctly). Used its phonetic pronunciation feature to correct these (and a minor few other words such as "productivity") which I found did a good job (used an online search to get the IPA).

Like another reviewer, I was surprised how quickly the letters counter increased, extensively. However, as the founder mentioned on that other review - 200,000 characters per month will likely suffice (for me at at least, at this stage - time will tell).

Wish list:
1. Chapters within Projects - With ability to minimise / expand so I can quickly see the "chapter" I am working on, and the ability to export single chapter, all chapters with auto filenames, or entire project.
2. Select Voice View - Current options are "All" and "Recent". I would like to see another option called "Current Project" that only shows the voices used within the current project. It will grow or shrink, purely showing the voices in the current project (I used 3 voices in my first project).
3. Drag and drop blocks to rearrange (Move Up / Down is tedious when you have a lot of blocks) .
4. Ability to add blocks between blocks (per 3 above, a pain when one has a lot of blocks). Duplicate is an option for this, but the counter is increased based on the number of letters in the copied block, letters that will just be replaced. It would be friendlier to have another two options in the menu (Add Block Below and Add Block Above) or a " --- + --- " symbol on hover between blocks (graphically nicer and user friendly).
5. A default pause length between all blocks per project, potentially overridable per block. For example, I would like at least a 1 or 2 second pause between each block (otherwise I'd put the sentence within the same block). Manually adding a Pause at the end of every block was tedious.

Great work in progress, hope it does continue to expand and improve.

Appreciate the ability to create a conversation dialogue in one interface.

I really like this tool! I've used it in one project so far, and my very discerining buddy asked me: "Whose voice is that in the video?" Normally, he's the first to point out when he hears what he calls "robot voice" (AI-generated speech), and he's very adept at detecting it. He did not immediately identify it as AI, and even admitted it was pretty good. I have never heard him say that about an AI voice before. He always complains about "robot voice" lol

Would give 4.5 tacos, if I could. Not giving 5 because there's still room for improvement. I can see by the responses that the creators of the app are passionate and involved. I anticipate the product to get better and better with time, and am happy to be a Tier 2 owner from the very beginning.

Lazybird is onto something interesting—it's developing an all-in-one platform for content creators who need voiceovers. How so? It offers a timeline where you can seamlessly add video, background sound clips, and text-to-speech voice clips. You can easily insert different voice characters into the timeline to create something akin to a podcast. Over time, I envision the timeline incorporating more features, such as a clipping tool, fade-in/out effects, transitions, and multiple audio/visual track rows. Recording presentation and educational course videos would be a breeze as well.

Just like on social media, about 10% of people are extremely vocal, giving the impression that theirs is the majority view. However, most users simply want to use celebrity voices for personal purposes. At the moment, voices like Morgan Freeman's and Barack Obama's don't sound quite right, but Snoop Dogg's and SpongeBob's are spot on. I would love to see more well-known voices added, such as Batman, Optimus Prime from the Transformers, Donald Trump, and Sir David Attenborough, who narrates nature documentaries for the BBC.

Eventually, I would like to have the ability to create my own custom voices. The developer could charge a one-time fee for each custom voice a user wants to create, which would cover the additional resources needed for this feature. With custom voices, renowned celebrity voices, and other high-quality voice options on a platform that provides all-in-one tools for creating social media clips, video presentations, and educational videos, the developer would have a platform that users will consistently want to return to.

I want to raise a concern about the very high credit consumption. I thought that credits would only be consumed for exporting, but they are consumed for everything, including audio previews and text editing. I made a fast test with small paragraphs and it's 2802 credits. I didn't even export it. And then I edited the section and I added just one comma to the text, and it consumed 181 points. ☹️ it is better to make the credit consumption after I finish editing and exporting
