Q: Is this needed when Google stores passwords? and Apple Ketchain?
Trying to understand why I might need this instead of the Google or Apple systems?
LockerPasswordManager
Apr 10, 2025A: Great question! Google Password Manager and Apple Keychain are convenient if you stay entirely within their ecosystems. But here’s why many people still choose Locker:
- Cross-platform support: Locker works smoothly across all devices and browsers. So you’re not locked into Apple or Google.
- More control: You get advanced features like password sharing, secure notes, OTP storage, and vaults for different needs (personal, work, etc.).
- Privacy-first: Locker is end-to-end encrypted, and we don’t tie your data to an ecosystem that uses it for ads or other services.
- Better visibility & management: With Locker, it’s easier to organize, audit, and manage your logins. Especially as your digital life grows.
In short, Locker gives you more flexibility, more control, especially if you're juggling multiple platforms.
