Bad profile links & junk backlinks
I have already made a few purchases on AppSumo and have never been disappointed—until now. After the purchase, you have to create an account on their platform and add a site to access the list of backlinks. I entered a fake URL just to access the list, but then that fake URL stays displayed everywhere. It was full of bugs and extremely annoying to navigate to the list. Once I got to the list, it was just a bunch of useless links, either profiles that will never be indexed, so they're useless for SEO, or low-quality, spammy sites that will never be indexed. There aren't many sites, and for some of them, you have to pay extra to get anything useful; it's a complete mess. They claim that all the links come with explanations, but that's false—many don't have any tutorials, even though that's part of their marketing pitch. And when there are tutorials, they're often outdated and no longer relevant, or it's impossible to place a backlink. Unfortunately, the product isn't covered by the 60-day satisfaction guarantee... Don't waste your money on this deal, I implore you.
