Q: When will visitor device metrics be included?
Beyond mere IP, shouldn't the device type and maybe screen resolution/browser be appended to the saved data? This would enable us to more accurately identify the visitor, for example for visitors on VPNs, university wifi, public wifi, company networks etc. Would be most accurate long term if we started at least collecting the associated data in a table where we can save it for future in case one day MaximiseAI or some other tool lets us increase accuracy beyond just the IP. Does this track device/viewer browser metrics, or will that be in the roadmap at all? Looks like a great tool, just trying to decide if I am to invest in short term (tier 1) or long term (could max stck if it will evolve into the ultimate form of visitor identification solution as described).

Oct 31, 2024A: Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! You’re absolutely correct, capturing additional data like device type, screen resolution, and browser can significantly improve visitor identification accuracy, especially in shared networks or VPN environments like universities, corporate networks, and public Wi-Fi.
We’re actively working toward a more advanced visitor analytics solution that includes exactly these kinds of data points. Appending device/browser details to each visitor profile is part of our long-term vision for Maximise.ai, and we’re planning to include this functionality in our product roadmap. Collecting and storing these additional metrics will help increase accuracy over time, as they provide valuable context alongside IP data.
As for your question on investing long-term, our commitment is to evolve Maximise.ai into a comprehensive visitor identification solution with enhanced tracking capabilities that can support any scale of visitors. All future feature rollouts will be available across tiers, no gatekeeping, so your investment now means you’ll continue to benefit as we release these updates.
