Q: User Flow + Recording + Streaming
Hi Rick,
Thank you for coming to Appsumo. Can you please explain how a user enters the meeting.
1) Do they have to make an account with Meetn first or can they simply click a meeting link and join a meeting. My preferred use case is that they click a link and join without any further steps.
2) Can I get the meeting recording file for uploading to or to repurpose it and if yes, what is the max resolution I can get that file in.
3) For streaming, what is the maximum resolution I can get. Also, how good is the audio ? Do you also have a sample link of an event streamed on Youtube in case I want to take a look ?
Sorry for the barrage of questions and I would really appreciate your clarification on below.

1) Guests join by clicking the room / event link and typing their name. Admins must register and provide an email and desired password. Hosts can either be assigned (in "menu / room permissions" --which is more permanent -- or can use a "host link" that you find in "menu / invite people" -- which is more temporary.
2) You can get recordings as mp4 or mp3, and they are in 1080p. Each person's video feed is max 720p, but screen sharing is1080p if you optimize for readability, and our recording of gallery view is 1080p.
3) For streaming, the resolution is the same as for recordings, as described above.

Thank you Rick, a bit confused about answer for question number 3. Just to make sure we are on the same page, what is the resolution for streaming, 720p or 1080p ?
The recording and streaming resolution is 1080p... but if a single person happens to be full screen, their video will only be 720p because each individual webcam image is limited to 720p. Hope that clears it up!

So just to confirm, after we deliver a webinar, we can download the recording at 1080p for repurposing across other platforms, making clips etc?
yes
