Q: Do you use AI LLMs?

I have seen really awful translations so far, as if every word was translated independently without the context. I would have expected to ask chatGPT to do the translation and then let your tool put it right. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
I have had the same issue with Weglot though, requiring me to translate almost everything manually...

A: Hey, I’m Kunal from MultiLipi—happy to clarify this for you. 😊

Do We Use AI LLMs for Translations?

✅ Yes, MultiLipi uses AI-powered LLMs (Large Language Models) for translations. Our system is designed to provide context-aware translations, not just word-for-word replacements.

Why Context Might Seem Off & What We’re Improving:
• We completely understand that contextual accuracy is critical.
• Sometimes, translations can seem off due to complex sentence structures or industry-specific terminology.
• We are continuously improving our AI models and enhancing our translation memory to ensure smarter, context-driven translations.

Manual Control for Better Accuracy:
• We offer a Glossary feature to define how specific terms should be translated across your site.
• Our manual editing tools allow you to refine translations without starting from scratch.

What’s Next:
• We’re actively working on deep integration with more advanced AI models, including contextual improvements similar to what platforms like ChatGPT offer.
• These upgrades will ensure fewer manual corrections and more natural translations.

Thank you for your feedback—your insights help us continue improving MultiLipi for everyone! 😊
