I intend to start coding my own programs which will at times involve interacting with an api. I am not intending to write programs which have an api which others can call. Will NativeRest be of help to me? Thank you
A: Hi! 👋 NativeRest will help you test and call APIs of other software products. But NativeRest will not become part of your program, because it is not a library, but a separate program, like Postman. In general, NativeRest helps to debug requests at a low level, where you can manually write all the fields of the request.
A: NativeRest – unlike Bruno, this is a native application for Windows and macOS. It starts quickly, restores the previous working state, and works quickly in general. NativeRest can work without internet access (local workspaces). NativeRest has convenient data import and export with the ability to select specific requests. NativeRest has powerful support for various environment variables....
Thank you for being warm to the idea and your intention to update this feature. It has been 7 months since our initial discussion, and I have been consistently updating the application in anticipation for the update. However, I have not seen this feature implemented yet. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide an update on the status of this request and whether it could be included in the next update. Sorry, this readability experience just makes me click POSTMAN instead when I think about opening NativeRest.
A: Hi Sumofusion, 👋 Thanks for the reminder and your screenshot of this issue. 🤗 I've received requests from several NativeRest users to implement horizontal scrolling (using a scrollbar). I'll add it in version 2.3.1, so pretty soon (within a week). I think it will help in your case as well, as an alternative to word wrapping. 👍 Word wrap itself is very difficult to implement. Let's give...
Kamal
A: Hi Kamal! Thank you for your questions 🙌 NativeRest is created for testing and debugging existing API, like the popular Postman tool. Therefore, NativeRest does not create databases and does not interact with them. Artificial intelligence will come, but later.
If I purchase Tier 1, will I be able to transfer the license to a new PC if I change my computer in the future? Additionally, could you please explain the process of transferring the license to a new PC?
A: Hi! Thanks for your question. 🙌 Yes, on the Personal (Tier 1) plan you can log in to NativeRest (desktop app) on another PC after you log out of the first PC. ✨
