Q: More specifically about drafts and course generations in OPENeLMS...

I need to know what counts as a draft. If I've entered my course information and clicked "GENERATE", then want openelms to tweak something and regenerate an updated version, does that now count as two drafts used? And what about edits I make myself but I want to see how they look when presented on screen...is that also a separate draft that counts toward the total?
Regarding course generations, it's really the same questions... when I am making revisions, before I am satisfied with my final version of everything, is each revision and regeneration counting as a draft toward the total I am allowed?
These questions include if the AI completely misinterprets what I want as output. If I need to start over for the same course, is that another draft and another course counted toward my totals? Or what if I didn't have voice-over but now want it?

A: In Open eLMS, a draft is created each time you generate eLearning from text - you can then edit and save the eLearning as much as you like.
Regenerating: If you use the manual options to generate a course then you only pay when that course goes from Preview mode to Production. You would pay for any image generations and extensions at that stage though.
Self-Edits and Previewing: If you make edits yourself and then preview how they look on screen, this does not count as a new draft. The act of previewing itself does not create a draft.
Adding Voice-over: If you initially did not include a voice-over and later decide to add one you can do so by selecting the generate voiceover on each text box. Again, any editing of the course does not count as a new draft.
In summary, when creating a new course using AI (or duplicating a course to for example translate it) then this counts as a course credit.

It will become clear what counts as credits when you begin to use it. You can check credits used via the My Plan link.

Many thanks for your question.

Absolute pleasure - that's very kind of you to say :) We have uploaded a new video on our listing which should hopefully explain in greater detail the difference between generation and the unlimited editing opportunities you will have.

Best wishes
