I could never use the app on android because it crashes all the time. On the PC, however, I cannot install it because Windows detects a virus in the installation package.

I have tested it! It is really worth it as it is a one time payment. Only thing is that the servers are not too many which is unfortunate, but I was assured by support that they are working on adding more servers. Other than that, the mobile app works great, the chrome extention too. Haven't tried the windows app as from reading other comments windows detects it as a virus or smth. I would give it 5 Tacos if it was not the limit in connecting servers. For all else 5 tacos+ ! Supprt is awesome as well!

Mixed results
Works well on my Fire TV stick, location Germany works fast and is not yet blocked.
However, the apps, whether Fire stick or Windows or browser, are extremely rudimentary. You can set or influence virtually nothing compared to other VPN services. There are also very few server locations, e.g. I really miss Hungary/Budapest.
I'm not sure whether OysterVPN will ever be able to catch up with the competition in the foreseeable future and develop into a fully-fledged service.
Postscript, addressed to AppSumo: I really wish that there would be a lifetime deal for a really well-functioning VPN service again, and not just those that barely work, soon disappear again, or have other major restrictions.

Works v well on a Firestick, western locations work amazingly fast.
On Android TV however, the app is near useless. Clunky, can't see what you're selecting, can't even connect.
This has high potential overall but I'd like to see more evidence that the developers take this seriously and see this as a long term project.
