Q: Web editor
Is it possible to create a document from template, and then edit the generated document on the web?
Do example - A project charter template the is filled automatically from a CRM and can be edited before downloading/ sending to a client....

Nov 2, 2024A: Currently, our product doesn't offer editing capabilities after a PDF has been generated. We are discussing internally to add some advanced editing workflow as part of "digital signatures" feature but it's not available yet. However, you can send the final data through our API. The workflow would depend on who needs to edit the PDF:
1. For internal editing (within your CRM):
- Implement a form or something similar in your CRM to finalize the data
- Once data is final, use our API to generate the PDF with the complete information
2. For customer or non-technical user editing:
- Add form fields directly to your PDF template
- When generated, the PDF will be editable by the end user through these form fields
- This gives your users the ability to modify specific parts of the document
