Q: Which macOS version do you support?
Hi, I have seen similar apps available for desktop, but many of these require a minimum Mac OS version of 13 to use on Mac.
Is the case similar with Pismo? What is the minimum version of Mac OS that you support right now and in next couple of years which macOS versions can we expect not to be working with Pismo ? Is it supported on intel based macs ?
I ask because I like this software better and simpler than the others I have seen . But concerned if and till when I can use it on my old mac.

Apr 10, 2025A: Hi there! Pismo currently works on macOS versions as old as macOS 11 (Big Sur), so you're likely good to go even if you're on an older Mac. We’ve made sure to keep compatibility broad, and yes — Intel-based Macs are supported as well.
While we can’t guarantee indefinite support for every older version, we aim to maintain compatibility with macOS 11 and up for the foreseeable future. If and when any minimum requirements change, we'll make sure to communicate that clearly in advance.
fastandcuriousSounds great! I'm currently on macOS 12, and it's reassuring to know that you're supporting even macOS 11. That means my Mac will be supported for quite some time, which is enough for me. Thank you for considering such broad coverage. Very few AI applications today do this.
