I was hesitant and almost gave a 4-star rating, but I'm rating it on its promise, and the app does deliver well on what it promises.

There are a few features that would make this a much better app:

1. BYOK support - GPT-4o Mini is good for most instances with a strong prompt, but there are definitely models that do a better job at executing these functions.

2. Keyboard shortcuts to simply replace text without bringing up the window first. For smaller edits, this would create a quicker workflow.

3. The ability to see differences between inputted text and output - this feature exists in their iOS app (which is the sole reason I purchased Tier 2) and is excellent. If brought to desktop, it would make it much faster to see what's been changed at a glance.

Speaking of the iOS app, it's the best implementation of an AI keyboard I've seen so far, and I've used quite a few AI apps on iOS. Nice work Pismo!

All in all, they're on the right path. In some instances, it's taking longer to get there than I would have liked, but I appreciate that it took time for the well-executed iOS app. Now I look forward to seeing improvements on the desktop version.

I find this tool simply brilliant! It's an integration that saves me a lot of time in revising and writing.
I've just started using it, but I already think it's fantastic! I'll study it further to see if there's a possibility to train it with documents I've written. This way, it could rewrite texts or simple notes using my style.

I have several AI tools similar to this one: Viola, Triplo AI (which I returned), and Merlin. My desktop has quite a few AI tools. Before purchasing this one, I worried it might be redundant or not integrate well with my workflow. However, it absolutely does.

It's super convenient when you want to modify a bit of text. Simply select it—either by using a shortcut key or scrolling to the top of the screen and clicking the logo in the top menu bar—and choose 'Open with Selected Text.' Then, with just one click on "Improve Writing" (or other options), I select 'Replace This Text,' and BOOM, my text is replaced on the screen. It’s super slick; I never have to copy and paste the text.

While there are other features, this one feature alone is a great reason to buy this tool, as it enhances your ability to improve your writing with a couple clicks. It’s easy to use and effective. If you buy it, you will use it, and you won’t refund it.

Hello, 70% of my work involves writing and creating documents, which is why Pismo is my indispensable assistant in my job. It was designed specifically for writing and is wonderful—very flexible, fast, and convenient with the ability to add prompts and keyboard shortcuts. The menu is excellently thought out and customizable. However, it might be worth considering folders for prompts, selection, and sorting by typing letters or something similar, because as more commands accumulate, navigation will become challenging.
It’s noteworthy that the application doesn’t freeze, unlike Flot.ai, with which it shares many similarities, but it excels in writing. It works excellently in Microsoft Office and is also stable in OpenOffice and LibreOffice. However, in Ashampoo and Softmaker offices, the application often fails to capture the highlighted text.
It would be great to have a history log of some sort, so that results are not lost. Otherwise, as a Bulgarian, I would be happy to have an interface in my native Bulgarian language, where the word "Pismo" does not need translation.
The application is a joy for me, and I eagerly look forward to its development. Congratulations.

Pismo is a solid AI writing tool. It's clean, easy to use, and honestly a lifesaver for email replies. Sometimes I find the floating widget gets in the way a bit, but I only have one monitor.

The custom prompts add a lot of value and you can duplicate the standard prompts and customize them if you need to tweak them. I want to use it more, but outside of emails, it just never sticks in my workflow. Not the app’s fault, just how my brain works.

If you write a ton, it’s definitely worth it. Otherwise, you might forget you have it… like I do.
