I'm no stranger to press releases, when I worked at start ups like Uber and Lime we had a department that handled getting me set up with local journalists and publishers. When I started my own company in 2020 it quickly became evident that there was a reason it took an entire department to get consistent placements and generate interest, I'm not ashamed to admit that a lot of those efforts stalled out for me because I just did not have the large amount of money to hire out those tasks or the time and expertise to take it on myself.

Enter Press Ranger. The software is very useful in letting you set up your various business profiles (or just one depending on your needs) and helping you start searching out journalists, podcasters, and publishers you may want to contact. The CRM feature was completely unexpected to me, as is very helpful at keeping track of your outreach efforts. What really shined for me, however, was the ability have it use it's AI to help you craft a press release. It does a good job of getting you 90% of the way there, and their robust notion pages will give you all the information and context you could need.

Like I said the tool is incredible, but honestly it's Steve that makes this software stand out. He literally reads and replies to every email, and it's clear he goes in and checks out your company to learn more about it. The two of us have been communicating back and forth as he helps me polish this press release I'm going to distribute, let's be honest folks, that's not only unheard of but also shows me this software is going to go far because the founder is getting his hands dirty every day learning how his customers are using the tool and what problems they are running into.
