We understand that slow generation can be frustrating—especially when you’re pressed for time. Below are a few points that might shed some light on why ReelCraft’s generation process can be slower than template-based platforms-

Entirely Custom Assets: Unlike many AI video platforms that stitch together stock footage, pre-made templates, or avatar animations, ReelCraft generates every visual element based on your script or inputs. This means each frame, character, and scene is created from scratch, which naturally requires more processing time.

Complex Processing: Generative AI uses advanced models (often large image or text-to-video transformers) that run on powerful GPUs. These models must interpret your text to produce visual assets—character designs, animations, and transitions—making the process inherently more resource-intensive.

Uniqueness Over Reuse: Because ReelCraft doesn’t rely on reusing stock assets, it guarantees a more original and tailor-made video. The trade-off is that each project’s generation is done “fresh,” rather than piecing together existing content.

How We’re Working on Speed Improvements
Increasing Server Capacity: We’re continually evaluating and upgrading our GPU and server infrastructure to manage more concurrent requests and speed up video generation.

Model Optimizations: We regularly optimize our AI models to reduce generation times without sacrificing the quality and originality of the final output.

Tiered Rendering Options: we have a “Preview mode” or “draft mode” rendering. This lets you see a rough cut of your video before committing to a full, high-quality render. We are also optimizing generation time for this mode and it usually takes under 5 minutes from script to reach this stage.
