NICE!

Thanks for coming to AppSumo. Everything just works. I initially thought this would be okay, but this is HOT. Let me tell you, so far every module is working as it should; this has literally made my site look extra professional, and I’ve only added about four of the modules. I'm glad I didn’t let that low review I saw sway me away from this. My checkout page is looking super professional. My only critique is to allow the notifications to be customized more, such as completely removing the buyers' FROM/location. That’s a very minor nitpick, though. This is a keeper!

Why I Chose ShopEngine for my site (And Why You Might Want To)😀😀😀

I bought ShopEngine because I trusted the company behind it—and for good reason! They've a big dev team that's been developing for the WordPress ecosystem for a while now. I had previously used their GutenKit plugin and loved it. Pairing both together, I can achieve really beautiful results.

Here, I’ve written some key reasons so you can decide whether ShopEngine is the right fit for you or not:

✔️Gutenberg Support
Okay, I know some of you may not love Gutenberg, and that’s fine. But for me, this is critical. Gutenberg is fast, available right after installing WordPress, and best of all—no bloat. It keeps your site lean and helps ensure your site stays manageable in the long run. Sure, Bricks is an exception, and I really hope they add support for Bricks soon. But for now, Gutenberg works beautifully!

✔️Production-Ready
This isn't some brand-new product fresh out of beta. ShopEngine has been around for a while—about 6 years—and it's been actively maintained and developed since then. You can confidently use it in production, knowing it’s not going to break the moment you need it most. And you can expect it to continue evolving. Their changelog proves how consistent they are with product development.

✔️You Can Expect It to Be Around for a Long Time
Unlike SaaS products that rack up infrastructure costs and result in those dreaded “heavy-heart” emails, ShopEngine is plugin-based. That means no unexpected costs. And since they already have MRR (monthly recurring revenue) customers, there’s a low risk of it disappearing. You can expect it to be available for a relatively long period of time.

✔️A Feature-Packed Solution(That saves time, money and conflict)
ShopEngine doesn’t just do one thing—it’s got a suite of advanced features(you can extend more advanced feature with GutenKit). Not only does this save you from buying a bunch of extra plugins, but since everything is made by the same team, plugin conflicts are practically non-existent. And if there is a conflict, they’ll fix it quickly because they know their product inside and out.

They’ve recently released an advanced coupon feature, which I find incredibly useful. I’ve requested more features like this—it’s one of the things that makes the product stand out.

✔️Ready-Made Patterns and Templates
They offer a large number of beautiful, pre-made patterns and templates, which save a lot of time. Just import the page, customize it, and make it your own.

5 tacos for ShopEngine!

If you are an elementor user and building an ecommerce website, you should not miss this ShopEngine plugin deal. I did not expect this great plugin to only get 1 taco. I know that Wpmet is very responsible with its plugin products and always provides updates.

I have tried it and there is a drawback, when I want to create a custom product loop, on the elementor template builder, I cannot use the product title or any ShopEngine widgets. I hope the Wpmet team can make the widgets usable on the elementor template builder too, because sometimes someone wants to have a custom product grid, and the only way is to use the elementor template and loop.

This plugin has several issues and appears to be unreliable.

The description suggests that the ShopEngine plugin works with Gutenberg without the need to download Elementor. After redeeming my AppSumo code and creating an account with Wpmet, I downloaded and installed the ShopEngine plugin. However, I was surprised to see the following message on the WordPress dashboard: "ShopEngine requires Elementor version 3.0.0+, which is currently NOT RUNNING."

In response, I decided to download Elementor to test the ShopEngine plugin. When I attempted to activate the plugin through the ShopEngine License settings, the following steps were required:

1. Log in to your Wpmet account: I logged in but couldn't find my license key!

2. Generate a license key from Product Licenses, then "Manage Licenses":
After clicking "Manage Licenses," I was redirected to a completely irrelevant website: https://d.pr/i/ROl771.

This experience has raised serious concerns about the reliability and usability of the plugin.

Hi,

It seems you've installed the Elementor addon. To fully utilize our Block plugin, you'll need to use the Blocks for ShopEngine plugin instead of the Elementor addon. You can find the Blocks for ShopEngine plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/blocks-for-shopengine/.

The "Manage Licenses" feature is functioning correctly on our end. Additionally, the Droplr link you shared isn't...
