1. DNS set up is not clear. The instructions and support said it had to be the same subdomain for BOTH the website and Splitmat, otherwise tracking wouldn't work. How am I supposed to set up a CNAME pointing at 2 different directions? that doesn't make sense and the support was really not making any effort to solve my problem.
2. Support really NOT helpful. You know the kind of support where you ask 3 questions and they answer one? Well thats what i got.
3. Impossible to adjust split test once set up. Once you enter your links under the one redirection link, you can modify them. Meaning, if you were to end your split test, you would have to recreate a brand new redirection link. That means every i published the link, I would have to update it. That kind of goes agaisnt the idea of split-testing and automation.

Stopped working after 3 days
We set up a bunch of links so that it could be part of our YouTube channel description and sadly after three days. All the links stopped working. We tried to troubleshoot this for 48 hours and nothing came to it and sadly we kept hearing that we caused the issue when we had not been on the platform for days.
Sadly we had to move onto another platform after that as we kept getting users complaining about broken links

I've found Splitmat to be a valuable tool in my arsenal.
The ability to create and track short links has helped me better understand where my traffic is coming from and how users are interacting with my content. This has allowed me to optimise my marketing efforts and drive more sales.
The main value add of this tool is to be able to split traffic and do A/B tests and then track them with GA. It’s good that they didn’t build the analytics part themselves, it would not have matched GA, wise product decision there.
The UTM tag is properly forwarded in the URL and the query parameters are not dropped in any browser, that shows for good testing.
The interface is straightforward and easy to use, and I appreciate the customization options for my short links.
