So, I tested it, and I'll keep it!
First, i'm from France and I'll support my fellow neighbors.
But to be honest, I'm quiet impressed! The AI is really good. In less than an hour, you have a very good first draft. It's totally at the level of "Mini course creator" that I love. But with Steppit, the axis is a little different. The team behind this product believes in step-by-step training. The iA is therefore specialized in making your courses as short and straightforward as possible.
It's a great idea that is extremely well done. Then, simply record your short videos in sync with the generated words.
Yes, I also struggle with the fees but I decided to ignore it. And I reasoned with myself: the fees annoy me, but the app makes the pill go down.
It is very well done, on the creative side and on the student side. And it will require a fee to keep the app up to date. Most of the other products I use don't have a fee but... Don't have an app worthy of the name.
For my use, I only have two huge problems: I really need the student side of the application and the site, as well as the emails to be localized in French (because my customers are of a certain age and are already not comfortable with computers).
Also to allow integration with pabbly because even if we can use zapier, we, the sumolings, mostly use products with lifetime offers.... So pabbly and not zapier. Or at least have webhooks.
For the future, I trust them completely. The product is beautiful and works perfectly. I deeply believe in their step-by-step training proposal. And it is one of the only ones to offer such a well-integrated cohort/class system.

This platform is great for my coaching programs. It is easy to generate and upload content. Creating the course step by step with the AI assistance is really helpful to make things happen in a neat and logical structure. I see the developers team put effort into making sure that the AI assistant stays focused and doesn't suggest irrelevant content like ChatGPT usually does. I'd like future development to include better communication between teachers and students separate from the public chat. Possibly by adding client reflection and self-assessment tools which might give the coach a true indication of how good or effective the coaching program is . These tools should not be in the form of quizzes with right and wrong answers, like I see in other courses. But it should allow for self-assessment and self scoring. This would be great for adult education and personal development coaching. We all have personal challenges and things we want to achieve and habits we want to change and need some helpful tools. I would like to see some survey-style self-assessment tools that AI can generate with coaching questions related to the course topic. I must admit my purchase comes after much hesitation and testing. I'm a bit disappointed with the restricting payment with Stripe and integration with Zapier only. I don't understand why they cannot introduce more variety and flexibility, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it will evolve.

I have worked with numerous LMS systems and coaching platforms, so I know what it takes to set up online courses. I really didn't have any particular expectations for Steppit but I have been looking for a system that is less cumbersome, more intuitive, and quicker to launch my clients coaching pages and courses. Steppit has integrated everything needed to plan, produce, and launch a course effortlessly. Initially, I had a few questions, and their customer service was extremely responsive and resolved my issues right away. I appreciate their willingness to listen and adapt to user needs, which has definitely not been my experience with other platforms. I know some people have raised concerns about their commission rates, but I find the value provided by Steppit's tools and features justifies the cost. By pricing courses appropriately, profitability is definitely achievable.

My client has also fallen in love with Steppit, and cannot stop thanking me for using it to build her course. Honestly, I just love how much it simplifies my work.

I purchased Tier 1 of Steppit to try it out. I like the flow of it. The product is clean, organized, rich with training and user-friendly.

What really impressed me was that yesterday I had a 35 minute meeting with Jay (Steppit) and reviewed everything, including giving my opinion of future enhancements. This speaks to the level of customer service in place.

I plan to use the product to create mini-courses to onboard real estate clients and answer FAQs, as a value add. I also want to automate my business processes and Steppit will be instrumental with educating my clients.

I was equally impressed because Jay met with me and it was close to midnight in the UK. She is fabulous in explaining the product. I look forward to growing my client offerings with Steppit.
