Q: A few questions and suggestion for AppSumo
Greetings,
I see a LTD version with 3 Users on your website. If I buy three codes here, will I be able to enable the Teams edition ?
When will the authentication other than Google be available ?
I see a lot of unattended / unanswered questions since a couple of weeks. Are you guys around ? AppSumo ?
AppSumo, there should be a compliance system where AppSumo will automatically pause sales of that product if the oldest unanswered question ages to more than a week or maybe 10 days.
This isnt the first time this is happening and Appsumo seems to be only concerned about revenue now a days. Sad but true :(

1. Yes, three codes activates three users on the app.
2. .Sorry to say, but activation only works for GAccounts, as we only allow publishing to GDocs. We are working on own cloud hosted solution, that would allow authentication with own email.
3. Guilty as charged, but now have a partner Myroslava onboarded, who will keep an eye on these to respond in the quickest manner.
As for AppSumo - yup, sounds as cool idea to keep track of the vendor involvement! That will definitely make us more involved.

I wonder why people make beautiful software, yet are lazy to implement authentication systems? Some have 'Magic Link' abominations, or Google or Apple or whatever.
I thought such tools could lose out on many corporate users who cannot have GA Accounts.

1. The team edition is basically simple portal to assign user emails to seats, nothing to fancy.
2. Probably end of year.
The reason no other authentication is that it publishes only to GDocs. So to have an output - you need to have GDocs. And thus - GAccount. Just having the possibility to sign up with random email will not allow you to publish the resulting document.
