I am enjoying the platform. I like the flexibility of having my own channel and being able to create and monetize my videos. I would like to be able when streaming to put the audience chat on the screen, as people like to see themselves and their comments. It's not a dealbreaker but coming from streamyard it's a nice bell and whistle to have. maybe it's user error, but it looks like I am limited in being able to upload a video. The max is 3 minutes and I do understand that, so I'm not upset about it but I wish I could upload videos in case I want to play part of it and comment on the video I shared. The net thing that is big for me is the fact that when I shared a video on the screen that has audio, the audio doesn't come through. I have reached out to support but I have not received a response. I know before on other platforms when you share a video, there is a box that you check for the audio to come through. Thats a downer for me if one is not able to hear what one is sharing. I will lean and I hope that these things are user errors and not the inability to be able to do these things which is why I lean towards the 4, but if you can't do these things and support doesn't respond it would be a 3 taco at best.

I will probably get a lot of push back from my review but before you throw the baby out with the bathwater let me explain. Streann Studio has grown up in just a bit since the last time you seen it. That would be obvious as my favorite Vanessa has not done videos in nearly 2 years. Which means this product video is a little out of date. Why? Because they have a full MyChannel portion now that allows you to run your own catalog of content. You also have the My Apps feature that has been added as an option. So Streann has grown up a bit since we last seen it on the scene. This is not StreamYard for that matter or any other streaming service. Those tools just help you get the stream into the hands of the other platforms where Streann is allowing you to make money Day Freaking One! What is difficult to understand is everytime a disruptor his the Appsumo Page people start trying to find out all the reasons why they should not buy it. I am not saying you should not ask questions but it is not everyday a tool hits Appsumo that basically give you the opportunity to make money upon registering your email address with the platform. Make no mistake about it Streann Studio is not perfect and has room for improvement and technical tweaks. Them take monies for a platform fee is the norm and as an indirect investor of a SAAS tool this should be expected. If you buy this tool and start making lets say 100k a year with no platform fee and the company says hey we have to shut down because we have no revenue coming in, you would be upset at the fact that now you no longer have the ability to make 100k when you could have just given them 10k or your revenue to cover network and security costs (which is an ongoing cost for every single SAAS product ever made known to man) Calm Down and Just Make Your Money Already is what I say.

We may have bought a lot of tools over 2024 but there has only been about 2-3 tools that you can honestly say will make you money in less than 30 days. Streann Studio can make you money in less than 30 minutes. You can host and run other streams for others or for yourself this tool as upside and should be looked at for a shortcut to monetization verses waiting 2-3 years to get monetized on YouTube while they are making money off of you for 24-36 months before you see your first $20 Ad Sharing revenue check from them. As the owner of 4 YouTube channels I can honestly say that Steann Studio is the cheat code to faster revenue in streaming. 5 tacos on potential and price at the tier 3 alone.

PROS:
+ Can make money in less than 1 hour
+ Can set up a PPV event in less than 10 minutes
+ Can embed and stream to other platforms
+ Has the ability to make even more money with the App
+ Revenue Share is the largest I have seen in any platform of it's type

CONS:
- Cannot put guest comments on the screen
- Still has some bugs here and there
- Only one way to get paid through (PayPal) *I think stripe upon request, but unsure.
- Has a little latency issue
- No Scheduling option only Instant Live (Can work around this but this is a must have feature that is sorely missed)
- Need more Templates and the ability to add other links to outside services on the menu or menu customization.

I bought Tier 3 thinking it would be a great tool for content creation; unfortunately, it isn't there yet. Their website is slow to respond. It takes a long time to load a video, and even after that, it plays online extremely slowly, even with high-speed internet. The MyChannel and MyApp options on the page are sometimes unresponsive.

Other issues relate to the information shared by the founders on the pages. There are many hidden caveats regarding the purchase. Some of them are as follows: They charge 20% per transaction. MyApp operates more like a recurring revenue model, requiring a payment of $99 for the lowest plan. The stream is not cloud-based; your computer needs to be on, along with the StreamStudio page, for live streaming to YouTube or other platforms.

There are many similar issues scattered throughout the Questions section, which potential buyers need to check before purchasing this product. I am requesting a refund in its current version and would be happy to purchase it again if the founders provide solutions to these issues before the deal ends on AppSumo. I hope they will have some answers. Cheers.

This deal could be ok for a new streamer looking to save money, but it doesn’t meet my needs. It’s a basic service with reasonable usage limits, nothing more.

The biggest drawback is the lack of a feature allowing viewers to chat on their preferred social platform. I emailed them to confirm, and they have no plans to add this. Strange, since nearly every streaming service offers this feature & many streamers integrate this into their shows.

It seems like they’re using this deal to draw people into their monetization platform, where they take a significant cut of the profits.

I believe this tool has the potential to be a solid mid-range option. However, I decided to set it aside due to its lack of transparency. It’s unclear who bears responsibility for this, but discovering only after purchase that there is a 20% fee on content purchased through the tool felt unfair. This lack of transparency made it difficult for me to trust the product overall, especially regarding other issues that I might have been more forgiving of—issues I typically overlook with tools on AppSumo, as I understand most companies are in their early development stages.

In closing, I strongly urge Streann and AppSumo to consider the significant impact of not disclosing a fee that represents 20% of a user’s revenue stream. Trust is a cornerstone of these business relationships, and I believe transparency is a reasonable and essential expectation.
