Has potential, but needs more attention … (revised rating)
Note for this revised rating: Survey Noodle keeps its promises: navigation elements (except for 'other' in the Allow Custom Responses, but I'm confident this will be resolved soon) can be translated now. Favicon is available. Other glitches have been solved … Therefore, I raised my rating from 3 to 5 tacos.

Survey Noodle has potential, but I lack some important elements.
As an agency I setup campaigns in multiple languages for my SME-clients. I lack the ability to translate 'multiple selections allowed', 'other', 'next', 'previous', 'of', … It would be nice to be able to set this per survey (for extra languages, I'd make a new survey in the other language).
AI is nice, but I see it's main value in evaluating results. Adding (a tsunami of) questions/answers/imagery is something I prefer not to implement via AI. This will not help keeping surveys simple and user-friendlly.
White label via CNAME is okay (nice implementation!). But I cannot set a favicon (thus a SurveyNoodle favicon is displayed) and in the meta-title 'SurveyNoodle' is still mentioned. Vanity URL's: this is a nice feature, btw.
Next to the 'select all answers' that apply, it might be interesting to set a 'select xxx answers that are most important to you' (xxx is a required value), interesting to discover clusters.
The help section needs some more attention. Still no idea what the slider private/public is about … (sent a ticket some days ago). And as privacy is an important principle for my agency (also in my country), I'd really like to know what it is about.
Some hick ups now and then (e.g. questions are replicated without request, eg. when setting a range in a Range question / theme colours/fonts are displayed differently than set). Some extra layout features might be nice, too (e.g. setting font sizes bigger, adding the logo of a client, etc.) And the QR-code: preferably without branding.
As for the phone numbers: this lacks a lot of countries. That question type (contact) is useless (also the English labels cannot be translated) for people living in the missing countries.
Plus: please note the dynamic content (AI generated) at the ending is not okay. I've tried a suvery with negative answers. The suggested Google Review was completely out of line … (the idea is nice though, but should consider the sentiment of the respondent).
For the moment, I cannot use SurveyNoodle for client projects. But I'll be patient, as I see some potential in the way the app is built. Also, I appreciate the enthusiasm of its founder and the plans displayed in the roadmap.

Oct 10, 2024Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. It's incredibly valuable for us to understand how SurveyNoodle is working for agencies like yours and where we need to improve. I wanted to address some of the points you raised and provide updates on how we’re working to improve our platform.
1. Translation of Elements – We understand the importance of being able to translate terms like “multiple selections allowed,” “next,” and “previous.” We’re currently working on expanding the translation features to make these elements customizable per survey or applied via customization on a theme. This will ensure better support for multilingual campaigns, as you mentioned.
2. White Label and Customization – We’re glad to hear that the CNAME feature is working well for you. We’re already working on a solution to allow favicon customization and removing “SurveyNoodle” from the meta-title for a fully branded experience. Your feedback here has been invaluable in prioritizing this on our roadmap.
3. Additional Survey Logic – We love your suggestion about a “select [x] answers that are most important to you” option. This is an excellent idea, and I’ll make sure it gets added to our development discussions.
4. Help Section – Apologies for the confusion regarding the public/private slider. This feature allows you to enable or disable specific questions while editing, ensuring that unfinished questions aren’t displayed in the live survey. We’re improving our documentation to make this clearer and more accessible.
5. Phone Numbers and International Support – You’re absolutely right about the contact question limitations. We’re actively expanding the list of supported countries and improving label translations. This is a priority for us, and you can see its status of active development on our public roadmap.
I appreciate the call out on our enthusiasm for this platform. It is so exciting and engaging to work with customers like you. Your success is our priority, and we’re eager to keep improving SurveyNoodle to provide you with the best experience.
