Q: Please explain how the email API and unlimited emails works and more
I purchased Tier2 (3K contacts) to see how it works for one year BUT I do not fully understand the 100 email API credits.
So does this mean that I am allowed to send only 100 emails each month or 100 emails period to 3K contacts?
What happens when I exceed the 100 emails limit?

Apr 1, 2025A: The Email API creates only count towards transactional email that you send using our API. These include emails like password recovery, order confirmation, notification emails, and more that are triggered in real time based on user interactions. When they interact, your system would make an API call to ours to send an email. This is what Email API credits are for. For normal campaigns and journey emails, we allow an unlimited number of emails that do not count towards your Email API credits.
