This is a short review as i only got tiny chat a few hours ago. Will add to this later but wanted to share my first impression.
The whole 'setup - customization - website integration' didn't take me longer than 10 minutes, what a breeze.
In the process of setting everything up i found a minor bug which i reported. It was fixed 2 hours later!
Tested it with 3 different people and it all worked smooth and as expected. All 3 reported it what easy to use for them.
I wanted to have a LiveChat Widget on my website which i can control via my phone from anywhere without having to install another app or anything else, so using slack is perfect.
So if you're like me and you want to have LiveChat on your Website which you can easily manage i recommend you get TinyChat!
Now i will dig into their JS API and see what else i can to.

Thank you for your review! It reflects our goal : to remain simple to use / to install, while offering options for customers who want to dig deeper (through the JS API). Do not hesitate to write to use about the JS API when you have tried it.
I run a website with German and French audiences, and Tiny Chat makes it easy to communicate in both languages. I quickly set up the widget to display in German for German visitors and French for everyone else, and it works seamlessly!
I get between 50-100 monthly chats, and using Slack for this volume is a breeze. I love that I don’t need another app for notifications—everything’s right there in Slack, making it simple to review and respond to messages.
For my current needs, Tiny Chat is perfect. It may lack advanced helpdesk features, but it delivers exactly what’s promised in the AppSumo deal. This is an ideal solution for small websites looking for an efficient, no-fuss live chat. 5 tacos from me! 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮

Thank you for review! We are pleased that Tiny Chat suits your needs, specially for international website visitors. Concerning the help desk, we plan to add a smart FAQ on Tiny Chat, there will be a tab where visitors can access questions and articles about your website / product. You would write the content on the Tiny Chat dashboard. You will also be able to create blog articles from this...
I really like that Tiny Chat uses existing infrastructure (from Slack) to send and deliver messages. This way the developers can concentrate on making the widget look and behave nicely, while not being burdened with message delivery and storage. Smart!
The message flow (from widget to Slack, as well as Slack to widget) works well. Using emojis in Slack, conversations can be marked as "completed", which works quite well.
There are still some (tiny) issues, e.g.:
The availability in the widget is not reflecting the online status in Slack. I noticed when I set myself as "away" and in Slack it would show up as available to chat. Since multiple Slack users can send and receive messages in a workspace, the online state is not directly connected to a single user, but I haven't found a way, yet, to accurately reflect my online status in the widget.
GDPR is another topic that needs to be addressed / researched. Users enter their email addresses into the widget. This email address is then sent to the Tiny Chat server (EU based) and from there on to the Slack server (US based, I assume).
There are also some minor styling issues. E.g. some elements in the widget don't have enough margins, or the new message indicator when the widget is closed looks a bit off (not centered). But overall, the widget looks quite good already, and better than most chat widgets that I have seen on AppSumo.
I am sure the developers will find solutions for all of these minor problems, and getting this feedback is probably why they came to AppSumo in the first place.
I am rating it 6/5 tacos, minus one taco because of the things mentioned above, so 5/5 tacos.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, Tim! We’re thrilled to have you as a customer and appreciate your valuable feedback.
We’ve already created tickets to address the online status sync and the minor CSS adjustments you mentioned. As for GDPR, we’ll be diving deeper into the topic and will post a concise update here (or in the Q&A section) once we have a clear resolution.
I can confidently say that this product stands out from the competition. Its advanced features, ease of use, and customization options make it a top choice for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient solution for a chat widget that works with Slack.
• features are far superior to others I’ve tested and to the one we had in place • highly customizable • manages multiple operators from Slack users • possibility to automate conversations with some development (the API is comprehensive, and you can manage interactions) • usable across multiple domains
