The quality of the video is great, sometimes there are some additional edits that I have to do but other times the video is good to go the first time. I have been using Vadoo AI for several months and it keeps getting better.

I started using this software and I really liked the concept. I like the idea of being able to get video sound and even captions out to clients with quick short videos. That being said the bugs in this software make it impossible to finalize a video the way you want to look. I can't believe that I couldn't get the original AI image in the beginning of my video to change no matter what I did and I spent at least 20 minutes, trying all different ways. The developers are very responsive, but you have to have a product to be responsive to, and I don't think this software is ready to be distributed.

The generated images are generally of high quality, and if you don’t like them, you can easily regenerate them or add B-roll. Additionally, you can create videos based on a wide variety of resources, with almost no learning cost involved. This is likely one of Vadoo AI's strengths at this moment.

However, at the time of the review, most of the subtitles generated in Japanese need to be corrected, which is not ideal. It seems that there are no issues with the English output. As a result, subtitle editing is always necessary, yet the editing process is quite cumbersome. Regarding these two issues, I have contacted support and sent multiple links to the generated videos, but I have yet to receive a response after 12 days. This lack of response has been disappointing.

I understand that the usage rate of Japanese is low, which may lead to a lower priority on support. However, as a user who relies on Japanese, I can only express that the experience is difficult to navigate.

I believe that after some time, these issues may be resolved, but there are no guarantees, and due to the return window, I feel I have no choice but to return the product.

For users in English-speaking countries, it might be a good purchase.

I use Zebracat so I'm using that as a frame of reference. Vadoo has all the pieces in place but would be awesome if they just gave the user more control. One of the big issues for me is that it doesn't make enough scenes. When I use zebracat to make a 1 minute short it's like 16-18 scenes, that means 18 different AI images rendered, that's like a new image every 3 seconds for the viewer.

In comparison, a 1-minute script on Vadoo produces 7 scenes -- so what this means is that you just sit on the same image for longer (8.5 seconds) and the video is more boring because nothing is changing. (8 seconds is very long when editing shorts).

Overall I think the app is fine, but this one decision handcuffs creators and ultimately makes the video end product inferior to competitors. I can deal with the weird quirks of the UI, but at the end of the day, we're here to make interesting videos that keep viewers engaged and watching.

I get this might make it more expensive for them to render more images but I hope this is something they will consider addressing and add a way to tell it to make more scenes, or give users the ability to add more scenes. (FYI, Zebracat and Reelcraft both allow you to add more scenes)

Since I got my lifetime license for Vadoo AI I have been having a joyful and productive time creating and publishing interesting, well crafted shorts for my YouTube channel. I am impressed with the versatility of the produce and ease of use. Keep up the great service you guys and I hope to strenghten our relationship moving forward!
