Screen distorts when resizing, runs lousy on my computer.
I've been looking for an alternative to Loom and Komodo, but this just ain't it. It slows your computer down to a crawl (except my PC, but Macs--fugetaboutit, too slow). No only that, if your testing out responsive screen sizes, and frequently have to resize windows during videos, this'll drive you mad. The screen distorts and bugs out when resizing. Doing a return, unfortunately. I'm glad it worked out for others.

Good but only if you need to record in your browser
I need to record more than just my browser. I love the idea of a rewind and re-record, but I need it to also work for my entire desktop.

However, I'm wondering if you were having issues with specific application on your desktop or something else? 5 Tacos Great Tool- 5 Tacos- Great Alternative to Loom- 0 Tacos Support isnt so great

I was looking for a Loom alternative and found it. It works great!!! I actually see this tool giving Loom a run for its money!!!
The learning curve is ok if you are a DIY-er to figure it out. (It isnt hard--just play around but there really are no instructions that I found in regard to what I was looking for. Figured it out myself. )
I reached out to support multiple times via the chat button on the page and one time via email to ask questions. While waiting for a reply I figured out the questions myself but one question still remains that I cant figure out myself yet nor have I found the answer on the FAQs. (note, the "faqs" are on the landing page in general). There are not any suitable tutorials or sections for tutorials--at least none that I was able to find. 👿
This is an AWESOME tool otherwise.
My suggestions would be to create a better navigation for the user of the tool, get support up and running, (maybe even add a place for paying members to gather to support each other that are having the same questions) , and a tutorials/KDB section.
As of this review, I have had no response 😢to my Chat and email for support since purchase.

The BEST software for screen recording
I have used many screen recorders, but Vento is simple and powerful at the same time.
I like the 3 options, only screen, only camera, or both.
I like the way it allows me to edit and record again a portion of my video in case there is a mistake.
I like the transcription in case I want to download it too.
In one way or another, let's say it's kind of a like Loom, but one-time payment for a lifetime solution is great.

Exceeded my expectation!
It's easy to use and flexible enough to make retakes and edits, as well as add chapter titles and CTA links. I believe there's no limit to the number of videos you can upload to share via link. Loom costs $20/month, but Vento offers LTD at a great price. I'm glad I discovered Vento's LTD.
