Essential watermark management functions are missing.

I purchased the software based on positive reviews, expecting to find a professional tool with rich functionality for simple and effective bulk editing, but I discovered I bought a product that, although it works well and is fast, lacks basic functions:
- there's no ability to resize a logo or position it precisely by setting pixel dimensions and distances - it's all done by eye;
- once a logo is set, the dimensions and position settings aren't saved, and there's no way to save a template for reuse;
- while the interface is simple, it still manages to be confusing even with very few options and refers to a non-existent "Top Panel".

In short, there are free software options that do even better than this and work locally, without having to upload and download images repeatedly, which would only make sense if you could create reusable templates.

Despite the positive reviews I read, I don't think it deserves more than 2 tacos.

Hello,

We will try to improve the app based on your feedback.

At this time, our app is used for image watermarking purposes only, it is not a batch image editor. The existing features appear to be somewhat limited. But we have plans to develop it into a batch image editor soon. And you will find more features and editing options for your images.

The "Top Panel" will appear when you click on the logo/image object/text watermark. There are several options for you to choose:
+ remove the object
+ copy the object
+ if you have multiple text or logo or image objects, you can choose to select what will be on top (like stacking). We have "Bring Forward" and "Bring Backward"

Right now, text objects can't be saved, but you can upload and reuse your logos or image objects (designs, icons, emojis) in the app effortlessly.

In response to your feedback on free desktop software options, there are technical differences between web-based and desktop image processing. It is really different to edit 200 - 500 photos at the same time for web-based apps and desktop apps.
I would also like to mention a few points about technical sides:

- Our app is processing multiple images at the same time. Single mode editing is not the same with multiple mode editing. While you may be familiar with single mode image editors, implementing all the features in a multiple mode editing app is nearly impossible. And the app is currently serving image watermarking purposes only.

- The number of photos you upload to the app will have different sizes and dimensions. So, even if we create a feature like setting dimensions of the watermark, the watermark will not be the same in different images because our app will have to resize the watermark proportionally.

- I understand that you may find the app not useful for your use cases, but some users still find some value in Watermarkup. I hope that with more features and plans to come, you will find the app useful for you again.

Thank you for giving Watermarkup a try. We will try our best to improve it and bring more features like what you mentioned to the app. Have a nice day.
