Q: how does this work?
Can i use this for SSL certs if my domain is hosted by Namecheap and I'm not suing a Wordpress website? For instance my domain with Namecheap is using a subdirectory to point to a TidyCal booking page i have. I would like to add SSL to the namecheap domain. Would that be possible? Also, the various tiers mention branding versus white label. Can you share where myself or a website visitor would see that?

Yes, if you have your own certificate, you can use it. The plugin offers a free certificate, but you do not have to use it if you have a 3rd party option :) The plugin will still monitor it.
White label lets you remove all the mentions of our company as well as the plugin name. Unlike White Labeling, Rebranding allows you to completely change the name of the plugin, logo, and appearance and create a unique version, which you can sell as part of your service to your clients (you can't resell the plugin, but you can offer it as part of your service, for example if you build sites for customers, you can include your own version of the plugin and install on clients' sites under your own name).
thanks, i don't have my own certs. I would like for this to provide the SSL certs. Will it work with Wildcard options for my domain? how long is the cert good for? Does it autorenew?
Yes! By clicking a button in the pluginโs settings, a free certificate will be automatically generated from Letโs Encrypt, and you can quickly install it on your site.
It's good for a year, and yes it will autorenew.
i'm stuck. I bought this and don't understand how to install the SSL cert for my domain (not hosted on Wordpress). How do i just create a Cert. I don't have any Wordpress websites?
Hi,
This is a WordPress plugin and works only on WordPress sites.
so i can't use this on other sites besides Wordpress?
Unfortunately, no. WordPress plugins only work on WordPress, as you need to install them before you can use any of the features.
