Q: Boilerplate

Hi Wpreset, I have some questions.

Is it possible to create boilerplates for different WP sites (construction, coaches, etc.) and save them on external cloud providers? For example, I have 50 WP sites; if a client wants a specific one, I can restore it quickly to the client's hosting server.

Further, if I have 50 WP sites as boilerplate sites, do I have to buy an additional 20 licenses, even if those 50 sites are hosted on an external cloud provider rather than on the Wpreset cloud?

Please guide.

Thank you.

A: Hello,
Thanks for taking an interest in WP Reset!

What you can do is create different collections of plugins and themes. So, for example, you can have one collection for construction, other one for coaches etc. In that case, when you get a new client that needs a construction site, you can simply activate and install that collection, that would automatically install plugins and themes you put in there :)

But it is not possible to have a backup/starter site preinstalled, if that was your idea. WP Reset is not a backup or migration plugin, so you won't be able to load snapshots from one site to another, or have them stored for future use on 3rd party sites. Snapshots will work only on the domain you originally created it on.

Hi Ivan, thank you for the reply. My use case is save the web design template, plugins, pages and posts on external cloud provider like Google (Not snapshot) and then install the plugins, along with template and pages when needed.

So it is possible to save unlimited sites (for templating and one click plugin install) on non WPR cloud. May use WPR Cloud in special cases. Please guide. Thank you
